The Black Series MagnaGuard figure should have been sourced to Revenge Of The Sith, but whatever. It’s a lovely figure, nonetheless. (more….)

We have a near-perfect Clone Trooper (Phase II Armor) figure now. What a shame it’s on a Disney Star Wars card, though. Don’t let that ruin anything for you. This figure is stellar. And we thought the last action figure we ever would need would be a new clone trooper! (more….)
We are wrapping up Visual Guides from The Vintage Collection wave 33 tonight with the addition of the Clone Trooper (501st Legion) (VC240). Click below for the full Visual Guide. Please also check out our full review right here.

And it’s really a Walgreens exclusive too! Sometimes you get so disgusted waiting so long for delayed action figures that when they finally start appearing you no longer care. That’s the Clone Trooper (212th Battalion) figure in a nutshell, and it’s another lazy effort by Hasbro. (more….)

The Black Series Archive line has been hit or miss lately. Obi-Wan Kenobi feels like it’s somewhere in between.. (more….)
The Black Series Archive line has been “hit or miss” lately, but the 501st Legion Clone Trooper, on paper, feels like a good release. (more….)

It’s fantastic that Hasbro is FINALLY re-releasing their RAREST The Vintage Collection action figure. If you’re not aware, the Clone Trooper (501st Legion) (VC60) figure was the RAREST figure from the original TVC lineup. (more….)
Hasbro, we will give you proper congratulations for choosing the RAREST The Vintage Collection figure to re-release for us. But is there any way you could think outside of the box and go a step further? How much more would it have belabored you to include an alternate helmet of the 332nd Company (Ahsoka Tano’s Clone Trooper), so we can pair them with the glorious Ahsoka Tano (Mandalore) (VC202) figure you just released. Let us get this straight. We have The Black Series [Phase IV] version of this character and a 5-inch Galaxy Of Adventures version, but you can’t include a second helmet and give it to us in a 3.75-inch scale. You hurt us! We know “newness” to a figures counts as a new figure, but it would have been WORTH IT here. Oh, and please continue to pick candidates from JTA’s Top 25 Better Choices For The Repack Case Assortments poll.
Let’s take a look at the Mission Fleet Shock Trooper figure! (more….)
Here is The Black Series Archive Clone Commander Cody. What a disappointment! (more….)

Oh, and be sure to check out the reference image in each review featuring the digital manipulation prowess of JTA reader and friend Alientek You’re going to love them! (more….)

It’s time for another The Black Series Visual Guide update. Click below to check out Kit Fisto (112). Don’t forget to also stop by and read our full review!
Holy cow. The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ Kit Fisto figure is a complete mess. The head sculpt looks like an amalgamation of the Episode II and Episode III versions of the character, but the deco and details more closely resemble the Revenge Of The Sith likeness. Either way, the figure doesn’t have a robe, comes with the wrong lightsaber hilt, and possesses a litany of other issues. 6″ collectors should demand a recount on this figure. (more….)
The Chewbacca Mission Fleet figure is the best of the first wave. It has a strong The Clone Wars vibe to it, but it will also work for an animated take on the Original Trilogy character. And it comes with a Wookiee flyer! Will you give this line a chance too? (more….)
The Clone Trooper Mission Fleet figure is another excellent toy. The figures and vehicles in this line are highly-detailed and generally look fantastic. This one is based on a 2005 Revenge Of The Sith Deluxe figure. Check out to see what all the fuss is about with this line! (more….)
There have been a significant number of changes made to the re-released The Vintage Collection See-Threepio (C-3PO) (VC06) figure. We took the time to break it all down for you by producing an all-new 68-image gallery complete with comparison shots, dioramas, and a breakdown of what separates the 2010 version from the 2020 new release. (Hasbro has released this figure every five years since 2010!) You can probably find See-Threepio (C-3PO) (VC06) at your local TARGET and WALMART stores now. If not, orders should begin shipping from the “Fan Channel” shortly. As usual, there’s more difference here than you may believe, including a possible retooling that benefits the aesthetics of the head sculpt! Be sure to acclimate yourself to the many changes!
