Hasbro Pulse

We reported that Hasbro Pulse is doing some internal housekeeping when it comes to the customer’s experience on their site. One of the complaints was the lack of notice when items would charge and ship. Well, JTA reader Mark received a notification email explaining that Zeb Orrelios would be shipping in the near future. So change is in the air! Now we just need to see those order history screens improve!

Hasbro Pulse updates their blog with a history of the various snowspeeder and pilot toys they produced throughout the years. However, they made a big blunder when they reference 2009’s Legacy Collection Luke Skywalker (BD51) figure as the first “snowspeeder pilot” Luke Skywalker action figure. They write “It’s worth mentioning that until 2009, no Luke Skywalker Snowspeeder pilot figure had ever been released. We had Dak Ralter from 2002’s The Power of the Jedi, and Zev Senesca from 2006’s The Saga Collection, but no Luke. This changed with his addition to The Legacy Collection.” No, this is very incorrect. The first version came in 1995 as Luke Skywalker (In X-wing Fighter Pilot Gear). It had the wrong name, but the right outfit. Then they included an updated version of this figure in 2002’s POTJ Luke Skywalker’s Snowspeeder exclusive set. They even mention this release in the blog but neglected to acknowledge the Luke Skywalker figure included with it. Last but not least, Hasbro added a kit-bashed version of Luke Skywalker in the snowspeeder outfit in 2007’s TAC The Battle Of Hoth Ultimate Battle Packs set. (which coincidentally is the only version of Luke Skywalker with correct mismatched orange pants and jacket)! Come on, Hasbro, we’ll gladly proofread your historical accounts for you! Several readers have emailed to let us know they are receiving notices from Hasbro Pulse that the upcoming Carbonized Boba Fett is going to be delayed. Some have reported the new ship date to be August 4th, while others as late as September. Thanks for the alerts!

Hasbro Pulse’s blog updated with an interesting article on why it took Zeb so long to get added to The Black Series 6″ line. Check it out. Now we just need ALL of the Ghost Crew for The Vintage Collection!

Hasbro will stream their next fan first livestream next Monday, June 22nd at 3 pm EST (21:00 for people in Central Europe and 20:00 for people in the UK). Not much is known, other than Hasbro’s announcement that they will have some news for TVC fans! You will be able to follow the event on Hasbro’s Pulse Facebook page! Let’s all speculate what news Hasbro may have for us.

Mark your calendars and set your watches if you dare hope to secure this year’s Hasbro SDCC exclusives. According to the Hasbro Pulse web site, September 10th (at a time TBD) is the day they go on sale to non-attendees of SDCC. Good luck. You’re gonna need it. That’s right folks! My card was just charged by Amazon for my order of the all-new Vintage Collection Death Star Gunner! I also got a notification from HasbroPulse, but at this point, it might just be a pre-authorization. Either way, it would seem it will arrive shortly from them as well. Keep an eye on your email if you’ve preordered this wave!
