If you think that the updated “photorealistic” technology is the only thing that sets apart the 2019 version of Luke Skywalker (Endor) (VC23) from the original 2010 release, you’re in for some surprises. Almost a full decade sets the figures apart from each other, and there is more you need to know.
Luke Skywalker (Endor) (VC23) is another one of our favorite reviews in our RDRs. We’ve also spent hours updating the Photo Gallery (which now sports 76 images and a wealth of comparison shots), updating text and new Editor’s and Collector Notes all to educate you on all the newness this figure brings to the table. Click the image below for the full experience! Make sure you’re aware of all THREE versions of this figure!

Tonight we are updating our Visual Guides from Wave 5 of the red-carded The Power of the Force line. Click each thumbnail below to check out our updated Visual Guides for these figures. This wave gave us some interesting figures, including a Tusken Raider who couldn’t hold his gaderfii stick, and one of the most interesting versions of R5-D4 ever made. Enjoy our look back at The Power of the Force [Red] wave 5! Don’t forget to also check out our full reviews for each of these figures right here!

Almost a full decade sets the figures apart from each other, and there is so much more you need to know. We’re going to let you know what you need to know.
Darth Vader (VC08) is our #1 most-visited review in our RDRs. It evidently resonates with collectors. Well, this should be interesting. If you are attending Celebration, and you want to attend a major panel, you will need to basically win the lottery. Standing in line at Celebration panels is one of the biggest time-sucks known to Star Wars fandom. Will this fix the problem? In my experience, solutions to problems like this often end up having all-new problems of their own. I think they would be better off reserving half the seating for this type of lottery and let the other half be for the die-hards who want to stand in line all night. Click here for full details! Celebration is just a few weeks away! I hope to see some of you JTA fans there!

In bolstering its trove of characters and stories, the acquisition also puts Disney in a stronger position to take on Netflix and other streaming companies when it launches its own service, Disney+, later this year. (more….)
