If you pre-ordered the international exclusive The Black Series [Phase III] Han Solo/Princess Leia Organa set, they’re beginning to arrive from Entertainment Earth. We have a sneak peek gallery for you to check out now. Han Solo is a dramatic improvement from the one offered in the Deluxe set with Tauntau years ago. We’re not crazy about the furry collar. It looks fantastic, but it’s woven bizarrely and doesn’t stay in place. Also, it functions beautifully as a hood, but it is shaped like a ring, so there is no covering for the back of his head. So it renders it useless. The head sculpt is reused from the Han Solo (Bespin) figure, and he looks great in brown. Princess Leia Organa is a slight repaint of the Princess Leia (Hoth) basic figure. It’s a shame Hasbro didn’t include any other newness with her to make this set unique. Oh, and Han Solo wasn’t wearing this outfit in the scene they’re attempting to recreate here. Also, it’s inconsequential, but the bio on Han Solo reads very awkwardly. Like, it made us uncomfortable in spots. But whatever. Hasbro did an excellent job on this set, and it only has a few issues that won’t detract from its greatness too much. A magazine scan soliciting the SH Figuarts A New Hope Leia has appeared in the wild. The figure is coming in December! Pre-orders will certainly open soon. So anyone who wants her should keep their eyes open and wait for the pre-order! Leia is the last member of the classic A New Hope hero line-up still missing. We have just completed our intense look at the first series of vintage Kenner Star Wars figures: the 12-Backs. Because May is typically a Star Wars month and 2018 is the 40th anniversary that vintage Kenner Star Wars figures arrived at retail, we felt it was the perfect time to start vintage Kenner reviews. (Oh, and let us not forget The Vintage Collection’s return is another huge motivator of this run too.) Each new month, we will focus on a new series of figures where we’ll finish the complete vintage Kenner run in December with the 1985 The Power Of The Force line. Already, they are receiving wonderful feedback and tons of you are checking them out. But we want more of your stories, so please leave them in our comments. Well, it goes without saying that 5POA is generally NOT OK, but Hasbro is making it easier and easier to refute that argument. The lastest Force Link 2.0 wave 2 figures are showing once again that this format is getting better and better and the sculpts (and their seamlessness), likeness, features and articulation are getting infinitely better when compared to how they were when this format “restarted in 2013. Princess Leia Organa is the best modern version of the vintage Kenner Leia Organa (Hoth Outfit) we have now. Sorry, it pains me to say it too, but it’s true. The proportions and likeness are stunning. The new weapon is perfect, and the details are unprecedented for this version of Princess Leia Organa in action figure form. Aside from some sloppy paint operations, this figure is gorgeous. Somethin’s coming over the latest Solo figure. Moloch’s got a secret. The figure has a “hidden” removable mask and reveals a cool character that resembles a skesis from The Dark Crystal. This character also doesn’t have feet and has a wormlike body (details shown in our photo gallery). Check out these first look sneak peeks and come back when the reviews go live SOON!

If you have been having your Forces Of Destiny Princess Leia Organa and R2-D2 set continually cancelled by ToysRUs.com, we have learned right from the source that this retailer is not getting stock. (We’re not entirely sure if that means just onlint or both online and brick and mortar. We just received word that it’s not coming.) If you’re waiting for it, you should probably order it from other sources like GameStop or Entertainment Earth.

Well this is interesting! Toys R Us has updated their Forces Of Destiny section to include the Princess Leia Organa/R2-D2 two-pack as their latest exclusive. If you recall, this set was a recently revealed in Brazil at the Disney Expo there, and our own sources hinted this would be coming to Toys R Us this holiday season. It looks like that rumor has panned out. It cannot be pre-ordered yet, but they do have a December 6th availability date listed. Thanks to JTA readers Mike M. and Brian K. for the alerts!

UPDATE: It looks like other online shops have this for pre-order too. Perhaps TRU is confused about having this as their exclusive, but our sources have confirmed this too at one point. Maybe it has since changed.
