Hasbro PulseCon 2023: The Black Series Reveals

Here are all the newly revealed Black Series figures from the Hasbro PulseCon livestream!

• Baylan Skoll
• Shin Hati

These are the only new figures revealed! Just two. But at least good ones.

Outside the US Hasbro will release a wave of archive figures for more casual fans, so these will not be sold in the US:

• X-Wing Luke
• Darth Vader
• Bo-Katan
• Stormtrooper

There will  be two new premium roleplay items!

• Ezra’s/Sabine’s lightsaber
• Captain Rex’s helmet

And there were also some pipeline reveals!

• Darth Vader (A New Hope)
• The Mandalorian
• Phase I Clone Trooper
• Mandalorian Night Owl

The pipeline reveals are targeted at more casual collectors!

The new items will be available in spring 2024, pre-orders go live today at 4 pm ET for Pulse Premium members and 5 pm ET for the plebs!

First a closer look at Baylan and Shin!

Baylan

His lightsaber is much longer than usual, based on the photos alone I feel the colour should be a bit more orange than red, but to accurately gauge colours in photos is always tricky!

Shin

Shin looks a bit off in the promo photos and the figure could need a good wash, but the figure they showed on the table, in hand, already looked much better.

Both figures are of course all new, no reused parts, both will be available in spring 2024.

And finally I want to briefly talk about the results of the Hasbro online poll about what segment of the panel fans are most excited about, about 11k people watched the livestream, it is unknown how many voted, but the results are still pretty telling and actually reflect what industry people say and what even Hasbro has been saying for years now… TVC fans need to take a deep breath now:

Almost 3/4 of fans who voted were most excited for the Black Series reveals. This is in line with statements about how TBS consistently outperforms and outsells TVC by quite some margin.
