Toy Run Tuesday #109 - Distribution Issues

Good evening, Toy Runners! My internet was down until now, so today’s post is a bit late. I am working on some new customs I wanted to share. I also wanted to talk about distribution a little bit and probably rant a bit too. Click here to hear me out.

I was contacted by a follower on my Instagram and they requested that I make another 1313 Boba for them, so I took some WIP shots for your consideration.

Now on to my main point: distribution. In the last several months, I’ve gotten all the new Halo toys (figures and vehicles), I’ve gotten new tech decks (the walmart exclusives were still a pain but I found them), I’ve gotten new retro GI Joes, I’ve gotten Marvel Legends (surtur showed up at my Target long before it’s been delivered from online sellers), and just recently I even picked up this brand new McFarlane Zuko that was only announced a few months ago and showed up already in store.

Why is it that ONLY the Star Wars brand seems to suffer from poor distribution? I know there have been delays because of covid, but why is it that every other company, and even some other departments within Hasbro have been able to circumvent these issues and get their product in the store?
