What The Acolyte Action Figures Could Hasbro Make?

Hasbro will make action figures for The Acolyte. Now the only question is what figures they should or could make…. based on the first trailer I have some suggestions for Hasbro. So click through for my take on what Acolyte figures Hasbro should make.

So many Jedi

In my opinion Hasbro would be wise to be cautious when it comes to merchandise for The Acolyte, but some things will certainly get made. And I feel Hasbro could not go wrong with Jedi!

My number one pick in case Hasbro would only ever release one The Acolyte figure (very unlikely) is of course Carrie-Anne Moss… regardless of the quality of the series I feel her action figure would sell, 100%!

My #1 pick

My #2 pick is another Jedi, portrayed by Dafne Keen (who was the young female X-23 wolverine variant in Logan, she’s all grown up now), my reasoning is that a) she plays an interesting looking alien and b) it would give Hasbro two different female Jedi which could then be kitbashed to their heart’s content for various other female Jedi from the prequel movies and The Clone Wars!

#2 More aliens are always good! (forgive the shoddy image quality)

And while I think the costume looks rather silly and out of place, I feel the titular Acolyte is also a safe bet, even though I think she could be Reva 2.0, as far as popularity among the intended target audience that buys action figures is concerned… but you could always use her for some generic Ninja instead, she would also not be out of place in some medieval display with knights.

#3 Chainmail? Really? As a stealthy assassin? But as a figure probably pretty interesting!

Next up is the Jedi Master portrayed be Lee Jung-Jae, he has that High Repulic look and while the High Republic is not exactly super popular, a Jedi in High Republic robes would still be nice to have!

#4 Capes are cool, ok, it’s more of a cloak really.

Another figure that would make sense is the Wookiee Jedi! It would be something different and regardless of the quality of the show probably something many may want to have, just because it’s new and different!

#5 Rwwwaaaaarrr!

And if Hasbro feels courageous and want to make something a bit more left field they could go with more Alien Jedi / padawans, like this woman here! I believe she is an actual character from the book series, and her name is Vernestra Rwoh, she was, in the time of the books, one of the youngest Jedi ever, which explains whe she’s still alive quite some time later in the time period The Acolyte is set in. But this is certainly more niche already, but as far as alien Jedi are concerned she would certainly be fine, but Hasbro could and should of course make other and more prominent Jedi from the prequels first.

#6 The High Republic is still a thing during The Acolyte

If the rumor that Keanu Reeves makes an appearance in The Acolyte is true (don’t get your hopes up, it’s all unconfirmed) then he would immediately be the #1 choice for figure Hasbro should make with Carrie-Anne being a very close second. But these two would always sell, I have little doubt about that.

All in all I feel Hasbro should not make too many The Acolyte figures or at least have a “wait and see” approach. But a handful of figures for an The Acolyte wave seem ok, and if they are mostly Jedi they would work and hopefully be in demand regardless of how well the series will be received by fans. You could always use them in prequel displays.

But what do you think? Would you buy some The Acolyte figures? Regardless how much you love or hate the show? Or do you want to ignore it all? What figures would you like to see? And of course all that is entirely scale agnostic, so both Black Series and Vintage Collection.
