Well, this should be interesting. If you are attending Celebration, and you want to attend a major panel, you will need to basically win the lottery. Standing in line at Celebration panels is one of the biggest time-sucks known to Star Wars fandom. Will this fix the problem? In my experience, solutions to problems like this often end up having all-new problems of their own. I think they would be better off reserving half the seating for this type of lottery and let the other half be for the die-hards who want to stand in line all night. Click here for full details! Celebration is just a few weeks away! I hope to see some of you JTA fans there!
Attendees of the Star Wars Celebration Collecting Track panels will once again get a free Star Tot for each panel they attend. There are 20 Tots in total. Click through for full details.
The Ohio Star Wars Collecting Club (OSWCC) has produced some great collector case patch sets over the past few Celebrations, but this one might be their best! They revealed a life-sized Laser Rifle Action Figure Case patch set as their Celebration Chicago set. Click through for full details on how you can get each piece!
If you are attending Star Wars Celebration in April and you plan on picking up a print at the Art Show, you can now pre-order your print for pick-up. There are some amazing prints to choose from (check out that amazing print from Jerry Vanderstelt!).
Update: Thanks to DevildogDan for pointing out that pre-orders actually go live tomorrow at 3 PM EST.
Check out the poster art for the official Star Wars Celebration Chicago poster. You can also read all about the newly announced guest attending over at StarWars.com.

It’s hard to believe, but San Diego Comic-Con is right around the corner. Before it begins, we wanted you to weigh in on your speculation of what licensees, specifically Hasbro, will reveal this year at the show. We’ve been hinted since Toy Fair that 2019 will be a year like no other in a very long time, post the Golden Age of Collecting. But will those rumors be revealed to be true? Anyway, let us know what expectations you have for The Vintage Collection, The Black Series 6″ line, vehicles, multipacks, and stuff from other licensees in our comments.
For fans of the series it may be hard to believe, but Star Wars: The Clone Wars will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year. Lucasfilm announced earlier this morning that the Emmy Award winning series and its 10th anniversary will be the focus of a panel at San Diego Comic Con. We are honored to have teamed up with our good friend, the illustrious Victoria from Victoria’s Cantina, this year to conduct our Hasbro Q&A during San Diego Comic Con. We also entered the current century because the Q&A is in the form of a video. This time YOU get to see the wry smiles and illuminating expressions on the Hasbro Team’s faces. While we focused our efforts on learning as much as we could about The Vintage Collection, there is plenty of stuff here on The Black Series 6″ line and 5POA as well. Reissue older 6″ figures? Gray-haired Han Solo? Using 6″ to make SA 3.75″ and vice versa? Will there be more 40th anniversary love in TVC? Will there be 40th The Empire Strikes Back figures? What about the fate of playsets? You’ll get the answers to all of these questions and more, so be sure to check out what this beautiful bunch of people had to say by clicking the thumbnail below!
Our friends at Rebelscum.com have a great gallery of the Hasbro booth on Preview Night at SDCC. If they don’t make these diorama pieces for actual sale, then Hasbro is making the biggest mistake of their lifetime. Check out these gorgeous backdrops!
Disney snuck this one in under the radar. This is a new Elite Series Die-cast 6″ six figure gift set that was limited to 500 pieces only. Unfortunately, the only new figure in there is the Scarif Stormtrooper which I think looks great. Hopefully, this figure makes it to retail in its own packaging along with the Premium Elites released at D23 later on this year. Thanks to JTA reader and friend Charlie for the find!
Hasbro released details on what to expect from each of their brands at their first ever HASCON this Fall. HASCON will take place in Providence, RI on September 8-10. Click through for their full line-up…
