With any rumor report we post, there is always a [small] risk that it could be simply just that.... a rumor. We hope our readers know that in general we have some pretty hefty sources out there. We don't get our rumored information from Hasbro, so we never understood why everyone ran to Hasbro to confirm or deny our rumors. And then the gloating that would transpire after they said "no" because they weren't ready to talk about it. Either way, that's neither here nor there. Despite playing coy the last couple of events, Hasbro has said today, and I quote them, "the return of The Vintage Collection is not a matter of if but when." They know how badly we want to see its return and they will work with Lucasfilm for an optimal time to see its re-release. People asked supplemental questions like about its format (whether the figures will come super-articulated or simply articulated) and quite honestly, both methods have been discussed. They did say that they would like to keep it a super-articulated format. We're thinking the 40th anniversary of a very special Star Wars film may be a perfect time to rebirth this glorious collection of action figures. Stay tuned! "Tell your sister, JTA was right."
UPDATE: Don't blame Hasbro for the five points of articulation in TVC thought. That was the other fan sites who suggested that. We rebuke that notion wholly and will fight for super-articulation ONLY.
