Clearance TVC Rey (Island Journey) Invades Mexico

JTA reader ExarKun777 is from Mexico. And his local store is getting invaded by the TVC Rey (Island Journey) figure. They’re also on clearance. Click through for his report. (It’s unbelievable how this figure never made it to Walmart.)

My name is Miguel R.; I’m from México. My Disqus name is ExarKun777; I post regularly in your site. First of all, I want to thank all of you for all the effort you do maintain a wonderful site for Star Wars new and collectibles, I really appreciate that.

Well, I want to share with you the current state in one of the Walmarts from my city. There is an invasion of Reys Island Journey! I counted 51 vintage Reys! I count them personally. I was not able to display all of them because the shelf was full of other things, sorry, but you can see in the pictures there are many of them. And there is no other vintage character besides this one, just Reys hahaha. This invasion happened in Christmas season when several Hasbro boxes full only with Reys arrived. Nobody is buying them, and I know many collectors, nobody of them wants this, just one friend bought one. The current price is 145 pesos; this is like 7.5 dollars (the original price was 300 pesos, 15.3 dollars approx). There is also an invasion of Han Solo Force Links 2.0, at a ridiculous price of 105 pesos, this is like 5.3 dollars.
