Sabine Wren is a Mandalorian warrior and graffiti artist with a creative and rebellious spirit.

Here we go again. We have another character Hasbro produced a million and one times already in every other scale possible, and now newly reinvented for the Epic Hero Series line to compete with two of Hasbro’s 3.75t-inch scaled lines. Sabine Wren is one of two action figures that make up the first wave of the Epic Hero Series Deluxe line. Much like Hasbro’s Star Wars brand counterparts, they barely include enough accessories to satisfy a single-carded release and, likewise, don’t do much more to inflate the value of the Deluxe format, which should give you a lot more bang for your buck. So, we believe that Hasbro could have quickly injected Sabine Wren into the basic figure assortment with an MSRP of $9.99. But alas, Hasbro uses the smoke-screened Deluxe format to pull the wool over the eyes of their collector base. This 5POA line seems designed for young Star Wars fans, but let’s face it. Kids aren’t interested in Star Wars, so this is another collector line by default. Sabine Wren comes decorated, but the paint operations are nice and clean. Unlike other figures in the lineup thus far, Sabine Wren comes with several more paint operation details as required by the design of the character’s costume. The best accessory with Sabine is the lightsaber. It’s nice that they included the backpack, but it’s too large and colorful for the figure and feels out of place. The removable gauntlet is odd, and the electro effect is fantastic for some action display options but will become limited due to the simple articulation of the figure. The biggest letdown for Sabine Wren is the lack of an interchangeable head or removable helmet option. So far, the character rarely wears the helmet, so an alternate option would likely be ideal here.
