Sabine Wren - TBS [P4] - Six Inch Figures (AH03)

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

Hasbro's The Vintage Collection interpretation of Sabine Wren appears better than The Black Series [Phase IV] version, but your mileage may vary on that assessment. Something is off, however, with the 6-inch head sculpt. The eyes are puffy and swollen, and Sabine looks half asleep. The 3.75-inch version appears brighter-eyed and bushier-tailed than the latter. Otherwise, both figures are similar. Each comes with an oversized helmet, although The Vintage Collection version is much more exaggerated. The costuming and paint operations are nearly identical, almost neck and neck, from the blaster pistols' highlighted colors to the outfit's ornate pattern. Hasbro also added a lightsaber accessory that breaks down into a hilt and blade. All the accessories interact excellently with this latest release in The Black Series 6-inch line. Both figures come with superb articulation systems and can attain a wealth of poses, thanks to that. And we're happy to report that aside from some facial sculpting issues, the 6-inch version is an excellent addition to The Black Series lineup. Sabine started in Star Wars: Rebels, but they are developing her storyline in Ahsoka. We're perplexed by the actor choice for the live-action series compared to the actor chosen for the animated show, but very little seems to make sense in Disney Star Wars anymore. Oh, and Sabine's lightsaber and apparent Force abilities are equally perplexing.
