Earlier this week an “animated” short film about the High Repulic character Vernestra Rwoh was released on the official Star Wars YouTube channel. The clip currently has 68k views, but I don’t want to dwell on that too much. Instead I wonder what Lucasfilm was thinking when they made that clip and whether or not that says something about how much confidence they have in The High Republic book/comic series.
