Hey, remember when Hawk was released in 2008’s/2009’s The Clone Wars [Blue] line? We don’t either. For one reason or another, this one slipped by Hasbro. The Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary “The Clone Wars” Clone Pilot Hawk is an anachronism of itself, but it’s nice to finally get this character in action figure form after more than a decade. (more….)
You have to wonder what happens during the Hasbro Star Wars planning meetings when you see a debacle of a figure like Captain Rex make the cut for a repack. This figure should have never been re-released. Ever. And how long will Hasbro play dumb about that cancelled phase I Captain Rex figure from 2013? It’s egregious at this point. As of this review posting, ARC Trooper Fives still technically doesn’t exist. Hasbro has yet to formally announce this figure as part of the latest case assortment. It’s an imperfect figure, but at least it’s all-new. However, what’s up with that bronzey facial hair? Will you get this figure from The Vintage Collection for yourself? (more….)
