There is quite a bit of talk surrounding the “squished” helmet of The Black Series [Phase IV] Boba Fett (based on Return Of The Jedi). Yes, collectors shouldn’t have to remedy this unfortunate packaging issue, but it’s not the end of the world. Check out our 72-image gallery of this fantastic 6″ figure. (more….)
If Hasbro had a clue, they’d make the DROIDS Boba Fett for The Vintage Collection yesterday. But they won’t, so we’ll have to revisit the 1985 DROIDS Boba Fett Kenner figure instead. We open up our Kenner DROIDS line with Boba Fett, a main character in the television series. It doesn’t differ from the previous versions, but it comes in glorious colorful packaging, and it one of the holy grails in collecting today. Check out our opening DROIDS character in our Research Droids Reviews today! (more….)
Welcome back to another Toy Run Tuesday! I received a new model kit this week. It’s going to be a big project… But I am very much looking forward to the finished result! Take a look at the kit by clicking here! After that, please take the time to leave a comment of your week’s finds, customs, photos, or collections.
Wow. If Hasbro didn’t do anything right for The Vintage Collection for the rest of 2021 (which is likely at this point), we probably won’t care. Boba Fett (VC186), based on the character’s appearance from Return Of The Jedi, is the best 3.75″ super-articulated action figure of the year. It’s that good. 177 TVC figures separate the first ROTJ Boba Fett from this one, so we waited a LONG TIME for this update. Oh, and it has one tiny issue. Do you know what it is? Check out the rough gallery and the final review. Some updated images coming soon!! (more….)
According to CNBC, “sales of [Hasbro’s] licensed content from entertainment studios fell 12% to $1.08 billion for the full year, [but] its sales of Star Wars grew by 70% over that period.” That’s a pretty hefty percentage for a single year. What on earth, do you suppose, could have possibly contributed to such an increase in sales? That’s rhetorical, by the way. The article without stating it directly basically says “The Mandalorian was really great for business.” Do you expect Hasbro to increase their product due to these sales? How much do you think The Black Series vs The Razorcrest campaign contributed to these numbers? Let us know what you think in the comments!

Sorry, Toy Runners! I had my semester final today and in the business and stressing out about a test I passed, I ended up putting this off till late! But it’s still Tuesday here, so I’ll count it. Anyway, I was able to finish up my Bo Katan I’ve been working on. I also got a small lot of figures in the mail and a gift from a fellow JTA reader and Toy Runner local to me. Take a look!
Welcome back, Toy Runners, to another Tuesday report! This week I have a custom alien I finished that I’m pretty proud of, and a couple shots of a mandalorian blaster I painted. I’d love to see what you got this week as well, so please click here and leave your comments below the article!

5POA is never OK, but at least Hasbro did something good with the Celebrate The Force multipacks, a parting gift for collectors as they close the tooling archives on these figures forever. The Bounty Hunters set includes a new take on R5-P8 that uses the same tooling as a The Vntage Collection figure. This character first saw release in Disney’s Droid Factory line. The rest of this multipack is a waster Are you buying these sets for your collection? (more….)
We finally get a 6″ Jango Fett figure with Photo Real deco AND the Mitronomon Z-6 jetpack. Does this excite you? Not only is this figure sourced to the Star Wars: Bounty Hunter video game, but it’s also sourced to Attack Of The Clones. (It should have been released along with Kit Fisto and Plo Koon,) (more….)
Up next for our The Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary Visual Guide updates is Boba Fett. Click below to check out our Visual Guide for the latest release of this figure, and make sure to stop by our full review for additional details and photos.
You saw our The Pathway To The Vintage Collection Special Report published on August 6th. Now we’re revisiting the figures that set The Vintage Collection in motion. Let’s continue moving ahead with 2004’s VOTC Boba Fett figure in our newly updated review, complete with new text and photos and Visual Guide. This figure still looks great in 2020!
Hasbro has released the 6″ Boba Fett many times in many different ways. Now Boba Fett is back to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back. Will you add this to your collection? (more….)
Hasbro thinks they outsmarted kids when it comes to the Mission Fleet line, but what they didn’t expect was for adult collectors to fall in love with them instead. This line is amazing. And you’re going to love it too. The Boba Fett release is outstanding. But please remember, this is for 40 and 50-year-olds, not kids. (more….)
Welcome back to another fine Tuesday! I’m pretty pumped up by yesterday’s TVC reveals. It was much better than the pitiful Luke stormtrooper “reveal” we got last live steam. I have a couple new customs to share with you! Please click here to check them out!
It seems Hasbro will not revisit Boba Fett from the ground up to give collectors an all-new figure. So, they did the next best thing and clean up the 2008 TAC The Fett Legacy Evolutions sculpt with a screen-accurate paint job and a shortened cape. It’s probably safe to say that Hasbro finally perfected (as best they could) The Vintage Collection Boba Fett (VC09) figure. We’re catching up with some previously released updated carry-forward figures in The Vintage Collection. We took the time to break it all down for you by producing an all-new 100-image gallery complete with comparison shots, dioramas, and a breakdown of what separates the 2010 version from the 2019 new release in the Collector Notes. Check out this excellently updated figure in our RDRs now! There’s more difference here than you may realize. Until we get an all-new figure with a non-removable helmet, this is the next best thing!
