One of the surprising hit products to come from Koto this past year was their lightsaber chopsticks. The first series is available now through online dealers and Diamond distribution. It's a series of 3 pairs of chopsticks which are packaged either individually (msrp $9.99) or in pairs ($19.99). The chopsticks are made of an acrylic and look very much like hero and villain lightsabers from both the prequel trilogy and the OT. Included in series 1 are:

    Darth Vader
    Anakin Skywalker
    Yoda

Each set of chopsticks is paired with a color coded stand with the Star Wars logo. A second series is planned and should be in stores this summer. Series 2 includes:

    Mace Windu
    Luke Skywalker (green)
    Darth Maul

Notably, there is a fixture included with the Darth Maul lightsaber chopsticks that allows you to join them together to make one long chopstick. But truthfully that may make it a little difficult for you to eat with!

Koto also plans to continue on with their ART FX Plus line which launched with the Clone Wars 6" figures. A new wave of ART FX Plus pieces may be incoming in late 2010, and this time the theme would be drawn from the Original Trilogy.

There are also plans to explore some Star Wars characters in more conceptual expressions. Koto is currently referring to this as the ART FX Concept line and it will present visions of classic Star Wars characters blended with some classic art stylings. The ART FX Concept line is currently looking at what may be an early 2011 launch.
