The Vintage Collection | The Clone Wars | Saga Legends | Super Deluxe AT-AT
Mid-Size Vehicles | Comic Packs | Miscellaneous | Role Play | Star Tours Exclusive
The Hasbro Toy Fair 2010 presentation gave us an amazing look at what is coming down the pike for collectors in 2010. A return of vintage is coming under appropriately named The Vintage Collection and The Clone Wars and Saga Legends line will share a similar line look under the inspirational Shadow of the Dark Side themed look. A healthy line of new and repacked figures will be released with a goal of six weeks apart to ensure the best even distribution and availability at the retail level. The big news of the day was the Super Deluxe AT-AT which impressed us beyond words. Let us say that this is the definitive Star Wars vehicle for 2010 (and beyond?). It is loaded with so many bells and whistles, you just have to check out the gallery below to appreciate just how magnificent this big boy is. For the mid-size vehicles we are getting the Twin Pod Cloud Car as well as a newly corrected scale Snowspeeder. Even the vehicles are celebrating the momentous 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back! Additionally, the smaller lines like role play, Galactic Heroes and the resurrection of Force Battlers will enhance the line in wonderful ways. Scroll down to check out our high definition galleries!

Hasbro's Saga Legends line will feature the same package design as the Clone Wars. It's being referred to by Hasbro as the SHADOW OF THE DARK SIDE look, and it unifies the Saga Legends, Clone Wars, Battle Pack and Vehicle lines. The Saga Legends line is designed to get key versions of core characters into the mix without bogging down a collector focused line like the VINTAGE COLLECTION. Hasbro cited research among collectors and Star Wars collecting websites in selecting some of the characters that would be offered in the new Saga Legends line. Only a few figures were on hand, but they seem to represent some of Hasbro's best work in the past few years. And the Saga Legends line will also present an avenue by which Hasbro can offer the AT-AT Driver again, as it's re-release will work in conjunction with the release of the new Super Deluxe AT-AT.
