Better Late Than Never - An Old Variation Newly Discovered!

I have been doing some behind the curtain work and updating RDR galleries of reviews where I used my old point and click camera with photos from a "real" camera. Call it serendipity or just a random observance, I have for the first time ever noticed a pretty significant variation on 2010's TCW Firefighter Droid (CW47) and I have never seen this reported until now. I hope I am not stealing someone else's thunder. Yes, it's two years after the fact now from this figure's original release, but this hard to find The Clone Wars figure actually has two unique paint jobs. Click through for more!

Below you'll find the Firefighter Droid from my updated gallery, just taken today. You'll notice that this droid is very clean and it's body is primarily 100% charcoal gray, save for the color flashes denoting it as a Firefighter Droid.

This picture below was originally taken in March 2010 and while the quality of the photo isn't as good, you'll notice obvious "fire damage" on its neck and arms. You can't see it in this picture, but this same "smokey residue" is also visible on the droid's legs, particularly the thighs. I am guessing this droid is the updated running change since it's very unlikely these droids would be so clean. Anyway, you now have a new variation to locate. And it looks like I will need to do yet again another gallery to show that there are tgwo variations out there. Click HERE to see our complete review on this figure!
