Anakin is a huge disappointment. The last incarnation was a lot better. His head alone has a lot of issues. This one suffers from a less accurate paint job, an off-model face sculpt, the head being cast in an extra shiny plastic, and the inability to hold his lightsaber. And is it just me, or does his lightsaber seem extra long? The face sculpt is the worst offense in my opinion. He looks like Dolph Lundgren! Another thing I found interesting is that his hair is a separately sculpted piece and is glued onto his head. Strange, right? Have we seen this before? And one more thing, his neck is not a ball and socket, but rather, ball-jointed! Way less movement options and I nearly broke his head off trying to move his head at an angle before I realized it was a new type of neck joint. Collectors are far better off with their CW45 Anakin.

Again, the packaging is great and the new beige colored figure stands don't look right. They should have stuck with silver. Beige just doesn't seem very Star Wars-ey.
