JTA foreign correspondent Bryan Mark German sends us some nice front, back and up-close shots of the just arrived wave 8 of The Vintage Collection in the Philippines. Before you get too excited, wave 8 is simply known as the Revenge Of The Jedi wave which really just contains repacks (for the most part - there are some exceptions like Han Solo (In Trench Coat) for example). There are however some very intriguing things happening with the final production samples. YOU MUST FIND OUT WHAT WE'VE DISCOVERED. Click through to see this and a WHOLE bunch more.

Not that many carded samples of the plain old Return Of The Jedi card back from wave 8 have surfaced. And it seems Hasbro is changing up a few things to continually drive us insane, something that will never cease. Check out two photos showing both a Return Of The Jedi AND Revenge Of The Jedi Stormtrooper figure. This is interesting in and of itself since the Stormtrooper originally came backed on a The Empire Strikes Back card in The Vintage Collection. It's still denoted as VC41. This makes three different card backs and two distinctly different action figures (the helmet change) of this Star Wars character so far. What may be more interesting is the TIE Fighter Pilot. Hasbro has chosen to pack Lt. Oxixo from 2011's SW [SOTDS] Battle Over Endor (1 of 2) Toys R Us exclusive instead of the TIE Fighter Pilot from 2009's LC TIE Interceptor TRU exclusive. This means that the TIE Fighter Pilot figure that came in the exclusive SDCC Revenge Of The Jedi Death Star II set is.... well, exclusive to that set. (See photo of that figure HERE.)
