I had an interaction with a couple today at TARGET that was slightly entertaining for me, but overall awkward by the end. Read on for more....

Set Scene: Paul Harrison enters Star Wars aisle in TARGET. Enter "Man trying to impress girlfriend" acting all cool and cocky along with his girlfriend.

Man trying to impress girlfriend: [Picks The Vintage Collection 4-LOM off of the shelf and shows girlfriend.] See, this drives me crazy. They bring back these figures I grew up with and they can't even get them right. See this figure? This isn't 4-LOM, it's Zuckuss. They shouldn't even make these figures if they can't get their names right.

Paul Harrison: [Reserved in response, but nonetheless unable to shut his mouth as usual.] That is indeed 4-LOM sir.

Man trying to impress girlfriend: It is?

Paul Harrison: Yes.

Man trying to impress girlfriend: But this was Zuckuss when I was a kid.

Paul Harrison: Yes.

Man trying to impress girlfriend: Oh! You mean, the figure back in the day from Kenner was wrong?

Paul Harrison: Yes.

Girlfriend: Wait, they really messed up the name years ago and just corrected it now?

Paul Harrison: Yes and no. The figure has been corrected for years in the modern line, but this is the first time is it available in the original packaging with the corrected name. (Note: I wasn't going to get into the Celebration V exclusive thingy.)

Girlfriend: Interesting. That's pretty cool.

Man trying to impress girlfriend: [Silence]

Girlfriend: Wow, you really know a lot about this stuff.

Paul Harrison: Not really, I just like it a lot and never stopped buying it.

Man trying to impress girlfriend: [Silence]

Paul Harrison: [uncomfortable] Well, have a good day!
