The Fett Legacy Evolutions Boba Fett must have been designed to specifically go through quite an aggressive evolutionary process (as a result of being an Evolutions figure). While there have been almost a half dozen variations since he first was released in early 2008, he has seen more significant changes in the last couple of years. There are two versions in the Evolutions line. In Evolutions, he was in a light or mint green and the first version was missing insignias. When the set was reissued in The Legacy Collection, Hasbro evetually added the insignias to Boba Fett, but it took some time.

Boba Fett (BD36) was chosen to be part of the 2009 Legacy Collection Build A Droid line as a repainted carry-forward figure. The paint job was awesome and while it wasn't screen accurate, it looked a lot better than the Evolutions version. The greens were brighter and the details were so much sharper. Then Boba Fett (VC09) was added to 2010's The Vintage Collection where so far it has two distinct variations. The first version shipped in the first two case assortments the same way. But then Hasbro tweaked the paint job by gving Boba Fett black "cheek" detail (which once was green), the tip on the gun has been revised (no more silver tip) and his boots have been corrected and instead of just being tan with dark brown lines, the sections alternate tan and brown.
