JTA spoke to Hasbro today and they are asserting that The Vintage Collection mail-away rocket-firing Boba Fett mail-away figures are indeed leaving their fulfillment center warehouses in perfect condition. They also explained that they cannot be held responsible for what the USPS has done to the packaging. Hasbro will only replace figures if and only if the actual figure is defective in some way. (Maybe Hasbro needs to find another shipping vendor.) Ugh! If you aren't too angry, check out our review on this piece. It's such a wonderful thing to have in your collection despite it arriving rather smashed, but then again, we are loose collectors first!
