You may have read about the cancellation of one of the three upcoming WalMart exclusive Expanded Universe Comic 2-Packs. But never fear, it has new life thanks to an online retailer. Do you want to know more?
In this February Q&A with Han's Hideout Hasbro announced that the Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron #1 comic 2-pack including Dllr Nep & Plour Ilo had been pulled from the wave of 3 exclusive comic 2-packs that were destined for WalMart. Hasbro cited concerns over the subject matter in that particular issue of X-Wing Rogue Squadron. However, in that same session Hasbro also pledged to find another outlet for this particular comic 2-pack.
The good news came today from Entertainment Earth. EE has picked up the
Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron #1 comic 2-pack and has offered it for preorder. It ships in April and will retail for $17.99.
Since this article was originally posted, other online retailers have posted this comic 2-pack for sale. So be on the lookout!
