Welcome to the JTA 2008 Legends Poll. There are many ways that this poll can be conducted so we thought we'd give you the breakdown of how we plan to do this:
We will have 3 rounds of voting where the final round will select the 10 figures that will be submitted to Hasbro.
Round 1
Voting will be open from the evening of August 4 - August 8
A list of figures from each of the major lines will be posted
You'll need to sign up for the forums so we can keep the voting fair...guests could potentially vote multiple times
Everyone votes for their 5 favorite figures in each line
The top 6 figures in each line will advance to the next round
The next top 10 vote getters will also advance to the next round
Round 2
Voting will be open from the evening of August 8 - August 11
We will seed all the winners from round 1 into round 2 within 4 brand new polls
All of the new polls will be weighted evenly so that the strongest / weakest vote getters are distributed through all the polls
The polls will not be line specific
Everyone votes for their 5 favorite figures in each poll
The top 5 vote getters will advance to the final round
Round 3
Voting will be open from the evening of August 11 - August 16
There will be 1 poll of 20 figures based on the 20 top vote getters of Round 2
Everyone votes for their 10 favorite figures in each poll
The top 10 vote getters will be the winners of the JTA Poll and be sent off to Hasbro for the final stage of the voting!
