What's The Deal With October 7th?

If you're all done attacking me, here is an interesting development for the Rogue One product launch. Has anyone else noticed the date of October 7, 2016 keep coming up on various sites that are pre-selling Star Wars merchandise (INCLUDING Amazon and Hasbro Toy Shop)?. At first I thought this was just a coincidence, and it still might very well be, but now we have a store report where this "week later" dates rears its ugly head again,. Your thoughts? Hi Paul,

My fellow collecting buddy just happened upon wave 1 of the 3.75" RO figures at his local Walmart. He tried to purchase a few (legitimately, he went through a register and tried to have them rung up- good article about the potential bottle-necking created by purchasing these through "backdoor" methods, I hadn't thought of that) and of course, they wouldn't sell them. But the interesting thing here is he said their computer has them dated for OCTOBER 7TH! I don't know about you, but as September 30th grows closer and closer I'm getting more and more anxious. It's really discouraging to imagine having to wait another week to purchase these figures, especially when many are already finding them hanging on the pegs. Have you had any similar reports?

Thanks for all you do,

Mike H
