Say goodbye to the old-fashioned MSRP folks! We've already begun seeing signs of this. The New York Times has just released an article exposing Amazon and the new direction they're taking with pricing merchandise. Simply put "There is just one price. Take it or leave it." The article goes on to explain that they're quietly eliminating "list" pricing and that you can expect top pay for whatever the average market is willing to pay for an item. It's nice to see how much power the "impatient and need to be instantly gratified" have on the rest of us. Or perhaps this is just the definition of corporate greed. Whatever. Check it out and decide for yourself. Special thanks to Ayem Mayem for the link.
