If you recall, we posted news of a pretty massive Estate Sale where plenty of Star Wars merchandise could be secured by collectors for "cheap". Well, JTA reader Jeffrey S. heeded our post and went to the event where he scored pretty awesomely. Click through for his report!!

Thank you for posting about that estate sale in North Carolina this past weekend. I was actually headed down there already for a visit so it turned out to be very fortunate (clearly the will of the force).

I arrived early on the second morning with a list of what I was looking for. Some things (Darth Revan, Cade vs. Talon pack, original vintage Jedi Luke, etc.) were sold before I got there. Apparently, two gentlemen came in the first morning and spent over $9,000. They came in after I was leaving with a uhaul pretty much buying up everything left. The sale ended a day early cause I went back for more but it was all gone.

I was fortunate enough to get some great items for great prices though. Thought I'd share some pics. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. It's great to be able to go out and buy great older star wars toys from before in a time when we're getting such low quality stuff now with crappy distribution.
