If Star Wars Is The Biggest Ever Now, Why Is There So Little? And A Plead....

Do you hear the crickets? The biggest Star Wars film of all time has come and gone.... and apparently so has the momentum for great Star Wars collectibles. How is there nothing new out there to keep appetites whetted or news to keep the dying collector base remotely interested or invested? Do Hasbro and other licensees really only need the casual gift buyer/parent now as well as the new fans that show interest from the latest Star Wars property? I wonder what SDCC is going to be like this year. Will it be as awful as all of the convention coverage that surrounded The Force Awakens, or are we actually going to see some stuff this time around? What are your hopes and dreams for the Star Wars line? Will we have another debacle this Fall with Force Friday 2.0? Or do you think there will be even less? Will things change for the better? And will we see a strong return of super-articulated 3.75" figures instead of the pitiful eight we received between 2015 and 2016? To Hasbro: if you've given up on collectors (of which I am partially empathetic), can you just get out some sort of exclusive that finishes up the modern counterparts to the vintage Kenner era? Then you can dump us completely. Thank you. Your thoughts please.
