Is This How Quality Control Dies? With Thunderous Rush Jobs Like These?

I have to admit that as excited as I am to see signs of life in the super-articulated 3.75" genre of action figure collection (for as long as it lasts), I am increasingly disappointed by the shoddy paint operations and other issues these now rare figures have. Whether it be misplaced eyebrows, bleeding or just embarrassing chipped paint jobs, Hasbro must lock down these quality control issues stat. JTA reader Adam found these three major issues in one case assortment. And I could list plenty of examples myself of figures I would never touch with a ten foot pole. Yes, that Finn comes with two left legs also.

Hey Paul.

I wanted to share a few images of poor quality control as a fair warning to those who go to eBay for these figures and buy sight unseen. I took these three pictures but I could have taken more. Poe's eyes, hair, and helmet were the most inconsistent. Finn looked pretty good but still watch the hairline. The pic I took was of two left legs.

Happy Holidays.

Adam
