As you know from our previous report, The Black Series 3.75" figures have begun showing up at ASDA in the UK. JTA reader Stewart G. set out to find his own figures based on our store report, but instead found somethiing else much more curious that the actual figures. Hi Paul,

I'm an avid reader of the site, but don't post. Thought I'd share a store report for once though. The report on JTA a couple days ago about TBS 3.75" hitting the UK sent me on a toy run to a North London ASDA this evening. I was actually surprised to find they had all three figures in stock, so it was a successful trip. The peg had the price as £9.97, but at the checkout they rang up as £8.97 each. Which I was not complaining about! Having looked more closely at the peg, I think the £9.97 refers to the basic TFA figures and these weren't marked up.

What I wanted to share was the odd price differences we are now getting in the UK. I know it's way more expensive here than in the US, but our prices are getting weird now. In most stores the basic/build a weapon figures are going for £10. Armour up is £11. And now TBS 3.75" at £9?! The Rebels line previously went for £7 each and we typically paid £12 for TBS 3.75". Prices are way up for the TFA line - which has been well documented - yet TBS 3.75" is down. I can only assume that Walmart/ASDA are controlling their pricing internationally on their exclusives, but anything else is Hasbro and region specific.

Hopefully my vague musings are of some interest.

Thanks and keep up the good work,

Stewart Gardiner
