Topic: Hasbro

More and more information on Force Friday and The Force Awakens line continues to spill. Since everything surrounding it has been clamped shut, JTA has sent its spies throughout the galaxy to cull as much information as possible for our readers. And we have succeeded in "stealing more plans" for this momentous event. PLEASE NOTE: spoilers MAY apply here. Please be forewarned. As always, take everything with a grain of salt until confirmed by Hasbro. Blah, blah, blah. Click through for details! (By the way, check out THESE IMAGES before the Disney cease and desist goes out.)

Keep it here at JTA and if we get more updates we will post them on our front page. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for these latest updates!

It looks like we’re not getting the BMF gutted or any resemblance of it for $139.99. Sources close to JTA have revealed that the length, width and weight (which is about half the weight of the BMF by the way) just make this item a complete impossibility of being the BMF… even gutted. It is geared for 3.75” however. We imagine it's something like the Hero Series Millennium Falcon but with opening compartments and features like that.

Micro Machines are making a huge comeback in The Force Awakens line. There will be LOTS. Like more than 50 individual pieces in this collection.

Hero Mashers will be a huge part of The Force Awakens line. There will be LOTS as well.

The rumored Jungle/Space/Snow/Desert/Jungle assortments you have heard rumored for a while now will each have two waves per theme. These will definitely be all 5POA figures. Of particular note, there is an EPISODE VII Darth Vader 3.75” 5POA figure. More on this soon! (That may just be the spoiler of the year!)

The Armored Figure Assortment is still a bit of a head-scratcher, but a remote possibility exists that these could include more collector-focused characters. (Don’t quote us on that. It’s only a suggestion.) Each figure in this assortment will contain an extra part to build something bigger (like the suggested Build A Weapon you have seen rumored multiple times). This is NOT part of the Mission Series line as was eluded to with other rumors. The shocker with this line is that although they are 3.75” scaled figures, there will be only eight (8) pieces in a case and not the standard twelve (12) figure assortments we know all so well. You can almost look at these figures as a type of “Deluxe” assortment.

The price of Mission Series has indeed gone up to $14.99. We heard it rumored that the cost of these figures are more than what the previous lines’ Mission Series figures sold for at last year’s MSRP. Yikes!

The Black Series 6” – the big news for TBS6 is that Hasbro is moving from 4 figure case assortments to 6 figure case assortments and all figures, right now, they fall under one product/assortment number. This means that The Force Awakens line will eventually be mixed with Original and Prequel Trilogy figures (for now). More on this in a moment….

Solid case packs are expected for most of the figure assortments.

Most of the vehicle rumors we had reported have also been confirmed. The various classes and deluxe classes will retail for approximately what are older posts had suggested. (See our other rumor reports on these details.)

There are a ton of role play items. A ton. There are too many to note.

3.75" 5POA - There will be solid cases of Villain Trooper Commander (probably Captain Phasma), Villain Trooper (FOS), Finn, Rey, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren. These will all sadly be 3.75” 5POA figures.

The will be solid cases of The Black Series 6”. The first wave includes Rey, Kylo Ren and First Order Stormtrooper.

Of particular note, collectors can expect FOUR (4) waves of The Black Series 6” figures from Force Friday to December (but a large portion – i.e. multiple waves probably – will be available at launch, or so we've heard).

There have been SO MANY ORDERS for TFA related product that stores really only got a small portion of what they ordered. This should not be interpreted as anything is rare, but it should instead mean to you that TFA stuff will be EVERYWHERE. The orders exceeded forecasting.

Keep in mind that these products will be released from Force Friday through the end of the year. This represents ALL The Force Awakens related products.

Now, that “more on this in a moment stuff….”

Everything posted above is from a The Force Awakens solicitation ONLY. NOTHING from the Original Trilogy has been posted on this solicitation. So there is even MORE STUFF to be announced.

We should be hearing more about OT and PT solicitation soon, so please READ BELOW:
