TARGET Makes Current The Black Series Lines NCF Status

While some of our critics may hail this as a non-story, we have an informant who has added a little bit of light in the progress of the Star Wars toy line from what it is now to what it is going to be in September. Whether this is applicable at your local retail establishment is not the point here. This is what soon will be happening at your local TARGET store. Click through for more!

INFORMANT: Not sure if anyone has reported this but while at work (Target) I checked to see if we would be getting any 6" figures or deluxe in and was quite disappointed. All figures now come up with NCF after their description. NCF (Non Carry Forward) items which means they are discontinued. So when toy clearance starts in the middle or end of July these may go. Or will be merged into the new DPCIs when the new merchandise comes in. My store has no ETA on any figures from 3 3/4 to 6" (from any line).

While it is expected that the current TBS lines would have to go into retirement, it's a bit strange that it is happening now, especially since the LAST WAVES of 3.75" and 6" figures are not out yet. Could they be the result of LAST WAVE SYNDROME, or will they be plentiful at the online level and just sporadically available at brick and mortar via a new DPCI (easy enough or is it?). Or is our assertion just plain wrong on any front? it will be interesting to say the least. One thing is for sure, we wouldn't recommend waiting on retail for any of these figures if you want them. Get those pre-orders locked down! This also means that The VIntage Collection DPCI has finally been canned too! Woo-hoo!
