Topic: Hasbro

What May the 4th holiday would be complete without a Hasbro rumor report? We have consulted the crystal ball once again and have learned some juicy tidbits for the future. The crystal ball has advised that not all that has been revealed here means that you will see it on September 4, 2015. To further confuse things, not all of this prognostication applies to The Force Awakens product either. The crystal warns that you will need to digest each bit of information individually and be careful not to lump it together with another thought or reveal. The crystal ball cannot see all details that clearly and warns us of misusing its power. No, what it should show you is that things, both good and bad, are possibly on the horizon from Hasbro. Let’s consult the crystal ball and see what we’ve managed to cull from its all-knowing power. Click through if you dare!

The crystal ball has been in agony for 40 days and 40 nights trying to distill what the Hasbro spirits of the netherworld are revealing. But it also appears that the number 40 could refer to the 40 figures available between September 4, 2015 and the release of The Force Awakens in theaters. The initial products are only meant to whet the appetites for Star Wars fans in the interim. For what will come in 2016 is destined to be bigger and better.

The crystal ball has advised that we will indeed see 3.75” figures. While you may see this as old news, the crystal ball has discovered some numerical data that paints a better picture. It cautions that simply-articulated figures will make up minimally two-thirds of all the entire 3.75” assortments. The one-third remaining collector-focused 3.75” figures will be comprised of both characters from the Original Trilogy and a few of The Force Awakens. The crystal sees that these figures will remain under “The Black Series” banner. It is also believed that Mickey Mouse is somehow implicated in the reason why there will be NO Expanded Universe characters this Fall.

The crystal ball reminds us that Hasbro has stated multiple times that The Vintage Collection needs to come back because it’s too important NOT to come back. Well, the crystal ball reveals that it may come back sooner than expected, but from only from a certain point of view. It senses that a large retailer wants TVC back in its stores for their Star Wars “boutique” and that an assortment along the lines of VOTC/VTSC is quite possible. It’s a bit cloudy, but the crystal ball sees both new offerings as well as some of TVC’s greatest hits as part of this assortment mix. The crystal also advises us that this may be the basis for the "super articulated basic figure becomes a retail exclusive rumor" earlier. The future is very clouded however.

What’s this? We see a new 3.75” figure in the works. It appears to be an astromech droid, the most popular astromech droid actually. Wait, it has all the bells and whistles a collector could ask for in it including things from the new film perhaps? The crystal has gone dark.

The crystal ball sees simply-articulated figures for all The Force Awakens characters so far revealed. The crystal, too depressed to move forward, has once again gone dark.

The crystal ball has regained its strength. This bit of info is also not so clear, but the crystal ball sees a case and a half of super-articulated figures for the September 4, 2015 product launch. One of these appears to be something seen once before in a very popular basic figure line and it is red. It is something completely red... or is it “read”?

There is another Wookiee action figure coming and it looks pretty mean and vicious. The crystal ball is unable to see more.

What’s this? The crystal ball STILL sees a Yarkora of some sort in our future. What the crystal ball doesn’t see is what year it will be released. (2015 or beyond....)

The crystal ball is now seeing a famous Sith Lord who was mortally wounded and given a mechanical lower body has been sculpted in both 3.75" and 6" scale.

The crystal ball has gone completely black. We are unable to provide you with any more details.

Please stay tuned to JediTempleArchives.com as it's impossible to know when the crystal ball is willing to reveal more information. It might be wise to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for any future updates. It suspects more information will become plentiful the closer we get to September 4, 2015.
