Walgreens has just employed a new way of preventing theft of The Black Series 6" line, although we don't see how this is ultimately beneficial for saving shelf space since they only devote a skinny row for them at the moment as it is now. Then again, it is likely that only one of these will be on the shelf. Confused? Then click through for JTA reader Jim's report on this. It's pretty sad that poor people (morally and ethically or those who choose to not work – NOT those who work hard and have limited means and resources, Lord know I have limited resources too – I had to clarify this to some folks out there – but apologies to those that misunderstood and have been upset by those word choices) are once again trying to collect by any means possible that it is has forced Walgreens to act in this manner. If you can't afford them, don't collect them people. You're just part of the problem that this hobby is dying. It's not rocket science. We really wonder how long this new anti-theft method will be utilized, because it LOOKS ridiculous! We also wonder how soon it will be before Walgreens tired of protecting Star Wars figures especially since a lot of stores barely carry stock of them. Hi Paul,

Looks like Walgreens is employing another method for loss prevention – a security box with a picture of the figure. This might slow down or speed up stocking the 6"figures, depending how you look at it. They have also done this with the marvel legends figures as well.
