That's what Facebook page STAR WARS: Anything and Everything is stating. It appears that Walgreens is unable to fill all pre-orders on this toy. What doesn't make sense to us is that if the buyer, who claimed to re-order 40,000 more units, ordered what he said he would, this thing should be more common than Episode I product. So something just isn't right here.

"We apologize that we are unable to release the Pre-Order you placed on 7/23/2014 for the Star Wars The Black Series Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) Figure. Your order will be canceled."

I called customer service and they said that the item is out of stock and they would not be able to fulfill my order even though I pre-ordered it. Thanks, Walgreens, for nothing.

UPDATE: It looks like two things are happening here. JTA reader Steven U. sends us a copy of his email. (1): Walgreens doesn't have updated credit card information and (2): as per that Facebook page, they are out of stock on the item.
