OK. We DO NOT want to prematurely jump to wrong conclusions, but with recent developments at Ollie's and Kmart, we can't help but pay close notice to what's going on elsewhere. JTA reader Nick S. sends us proof that he found some The Vintage Collection figures and they were specially priced at $7.98 (down from the normal $9.99). This odd collection of figures looks to be a hodgepodge of multiple cases. It's likely these could have fallen behind the display and even stranger they could have been returned. As if finding the Snowspeeder/Cloud Car combo yesterday wasn't enough, now it seems that Toys R Us has some old stock leftover as well. Today I checked the TRU in my town to see how the reset was coming along, it's pretty much in full swing now. I noticed a single rung in the center of the aisle holding a few Vintage Collection figures! The figures were VC93 Darth Vader, Bom Vimdin, Hoth Luke, Lightsaber Construction Luke, and 2x Wedge Antilles. So quite an assortment and to top it off they sell for $7.98. So if you have a TRU near you it just might be worth a look. Who knows what we'll see next?
