Hey everyone! Did you know The Vintage Collection is on sale at TARGET? Click through for more.

This is just ONE of the many horrid examples that provide proof that things are still utterly wrong with the Hasbro Star Wars basic figure line. We're going through this all over again, albeit in a different light, after promises of Hasbro getting the entire act together after the Debacle of 2012. Just the mere fact that TARGET, which is likely one of Hasbro's biggest accounts, STILL has the The Black Series designated as TVC, with The Phantom Menace wave menacing store shelves after 24 months and going into their third year leaves us shaking in our boots. (And let's not forget the MANY TARGET locations that have yet to receive ANY of TBS thanks to the deluge of Episode I figures. Let's also not forget all of the NEW cases of wave 13 arriving to Five Below dusting these retail locations with seven (7) more of The Phantom Menace wave figures per case, is an abhorrent nightmare all over again.

We ask again. Hasbro, how many of these freaking figures did you make? When the world ends, clearly all that will be left are cockroaches and the figures from The Phantom Menace wave of The Vintage Collection. Many of us just can't deal with this ridiculousness any longer. Sad but true.

Is there hope for 2014? Who knows anymore? I am sure we'll still be seeing TVC TPM figures next year too. The latter ISN'T sarcasm.
