Welcome to our next Q and A of the Day post! This column will be published daily, weekly, monthly, or just based on how many questions I get emailed – but no more than one a day. Feel free to send in your questions and I will put them in the queue. Click through for Q and A of the Day: Day 14.

Q: Hey Paul and everyone! My question is about the upcoming the Legacy collection 6 figure set that Amazon.com will soon be selling. Now if I'm not mistaken, l could swear that l already own 5 versions of the 6 figures that they are selling! All l want is the pilot droid from Dooku's ship and the BAD would be nice too! So,as a collector do l "suck it up" and spend my money for god, country, and all things Star Wars (and the good of the hobby) or do l skip this set and wait for another day? (Rick S.)

A: Yes. You should absolutely suck it up and buy them. Unfortunately I am a bit late in posting this question and it would have been perfect timing to read this right before the set went on sale for a low $49.99 earlier today. In order to better answer your question, I need to ask you a couple myself. Are you a "one of everything" collector? If you are, there are "new" figures in this set. This is the first time the Utapau Clone Trooper has been offered with the new VC45 Clone Trooper body. The helmet is still oversized, but this will be the best version of the 212th Attack Battalion that money can buy. The Sandtrooper Corporal (utilizing the VC14 body sculpt) is a first time offering and the Geonosis Arena Battle Droid (utilizing the VC78 body sculpt) is also available for the very first time. As a collector, these figures excite me. I may not need another Sun Fac or TIE Pilot, but I will reserve judgment until I see them in person. I see small paint variances on the prototypes already, but I need to see them in person before I can give accurate advice there.

You may find collectors who will be looking to army-build many of these characters (especially the 212th Attack Battalion Clone Trooper) so you may be able to sell them without the Build A Droid parts for a reduced price on the aftermarket. The bottom line here is I believe you'll have options to part with the stuff you don't want and be able to hld onto the figures you do want. I don't think this was the rigth way for Hasbro to handle the MIA Build A Droid figures, but it's an acceptable "Plan B" as far as I am concerned.

I really wish Hasbro would follow in the footsteps of the Naboo Royal Starship Droids Battle Packs set. What collector wouldn't want four astromech droids or four protocol droids for about $25 that all focus around one film or EU source? I think Hasbro is missing a huge money boat here. It would be cost effective and give the collecting community an opportunity to get a plethora of new droids quickly and cheaply while satisfying a huge desire to see more droids at retail. I will be asking them this exct question in NYC on October 9th at the Preview Party. I pray they are receptive to it.
