Hey JTA'ers,

Just returned from Toys R Us in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Finally some new product in my neck of the woods! Although I have mixed feelings about what I found.

There was a case of the new Saga Legends figures at $6.99 each and one each of the 6 inch Black Series Luke and Artoo. I picked up a Saga Legends figure for my "One Carded" collection but passed on the Black Series because they are $24.99 each! I've been watching the online criticisms of these new figures and was waiting until I could actually see them before deciding. My intentions were to get both of these to use as a "statue-like" display on my desk but for $50 I could probably find an actual sculpture. Wow, what a disappointment! Artoo is definitely too small and when I saw the Luke figure with the poor joint design all I could think of was the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz.

It was nice to see the Star Wars aisle finally refilled but I'm pretty sure I won't be spending much on these new waves. Although the Han in Carbonite coin bank IS interesting.
