Review: Darth Vader - Life Size Bust (Our 1500th Review!!!)

Topic: Research Droids Reviews

I teased you all a few weeks ago, and again yesterday about this. But now is the time to reveal it. I have been saving up for Sideshow Collectibles' Darth Vader Life Size Bust for a while now. It's worked out that I could pay it off in time for our 1500th Research Droids Reviews entry – which makes my knees buckle a bit in and of itself. I can tell you however that this high-end collectible makes my knees buckle a bit more. If you only read one review on the web this year, please read this one too. It is absolutely the GREATEST high-end collectible I have ever purchased and I am at a loss for words how awesome it is indeed. Over 70 images of it follow by clicking the banner below.

In perfect timing, JTA would also like to wish David Prowse, the man who IS Darth Vader, a very happy 78th birthday today (78 is also a very important "Hasbro" number too as far as Darth Vader is concerned). It must have been the will of the Force that we have reached our 1500th review on his July 1st birthday, especially with a collectible based on the character he portrayed. Serendipitous? No, it's the Force.

To our readers, thank you for the 4+ years support of this column. It's been tough providing a new review for everyone each and every day, but it's taught me discipline in a completely different light, which is always a great life skill set to develop I suppose. I hope you'll join us faithfully when The Black Series collection starts hitting. You can rest assured we will be making them a priority.

Feel free to leave your own thoughts in our comments section, vote in the poll or even leave comments about it on our Facebook page. Click the banner below for the direct link to the review! As always, you can also send your own personal review requests via email if you'd like to see something that we didn't cover yet.

Darth Vader (Life Size Bust)

Thank you JK at YF.com for the awesome banner concept for this very special piece.
