Well, it's official! The Endor AT-AT has FINALLY hit the East Coast. I just recently found it in the Philly area, but we are also getting reports from NY, NJ and CT too. We're actually a few days late posting this, but it's a safe bet that this behemoth is everywhere now. Sadly, it didn't "do it" for me. I may just be so burned out at this point. I will see how I feel next pay day. Click through for some other reports too!

From Peter at the Jersey Shore (The real Jersey shore....)

Hi Paul,

Just wanted to drop you a quick note:

The Endor AT-AT has arrived at TRU at the Jersey Shore. It just arrived today. A sales associate was able to tell me that there are 261 in the distribution center for this TRU (not sure how many TRU it services). Maybe that means I can wait a bit for a coupon before buying...

Sincerely,

Peter (JubGoobles)

From Adam W. in Maine

Last night (Wednesday) I stopped into the South Portland, Maine Toys R Us to see if somehow I could take advantage of the new Lego BOGO50% sale, hoping with the coupons and rewards stuff I had I could make something worth it. The only thing not horrendously overpriced ($149.99 for Jabba’s? Three stores within three miles had it for under $100, not to mention online) was the Hoth LE set, and I contemplated getting two of them. With my $15 off $75 coupon for using my R US card ($10 for not using the card) and the $10 Gift Card from last week’s promotion, it would have been a decent deal.

Even though I had been there just two days before, I walked over to the figure section to see if any new DC Unlimited were up, and of course went to the Star Wars section, even though I knew it would have the same four or five sad old Vintage figures (they have been there so long, the employees give each character its own peg, so flipping through them is futile). And low and behold…the AT-AT was there. They had been there less than 48 hours, crisp perfect boxes with not a smidge of dust. Best of all, they were not all beat to heck like many Millennium Falcon boxes from the stress marks caused by those large anti-theft devices they put on them.

I am still playing with my Falcon, and I knew I wasn’t going to even take it out of the box for awhile, but I had no choice but to pick it up. There were two, and at the register they said that was all they had on hand and didn’t know if more were coming or not. I admit I was relieved it was only $129.99…and I say that with the proviso that it’s still very expensive, but not stratospheric like the Falcon.

With the $15 coupon, and my $10 gift card, it was $110.71 including tax. Not bad – though I kicked myself after because I forgot the gift card promotion was still going on, and I wonder if I could have used another of the gift card coupons to get an additional $10 gift card for later (effectively bringing the price down to $100). Still, at just under $111, I was happy – although it won’t make it out of it’s box for a few weeks because I just don’t have the time/space because of current projects – I will have a lot of fun looking at the very cool box until then.

So just wanted to give a heads up – if it made it to Maine, it should be pretty much everywhere by now!
