Another Crazy Store Report - TVC Wave 16 Remnants Found!

The final wave of The Vintage Collection continues to make its way into various USA retail locations. JTA reader flamingtoilet has another fascinating store report for you to read. But this new location also has other much older Star Wars action figures as well. It's actually quite a head scratcher! Click through for details!

I stopped by the North Park Mall here in Dallas today and checked out Puzzle Zoo. It's quite the interesting store, actually - in addition to some "current" toys, they carry quite a lot of "collectors" toys as well. (Including several vintage vintage SW toys, both boxed and loose, and some of the Gentle Giant Jumbo Vintage figures (which, now that I've seen them in person, I definitely want.)) One wall of the store is nothing but SW figures, going from the current stuff all the way back to an orange-carded POTF2 Luke X-Wing (With long lightsaber! Hey, remember when that was a thing?). A lot of it is overpriced pegwarmers- if you've ever wondered what happened to all those Gargan action figures that used to clog pegs, you can find them here for the low price of $17.95!- but right there on the left side of the display were TVC carded Naboo Pilot (which I'd thought I'd glimpsed through the window briefly once before, but this confirmed it!), Gungan Warrior, and Mawhonic, for the fairly reasonable (for these) price of $14.95. Unfortunately that was all they had of that wave. Aside from a random TVC EpIII Obi-Wan and Senate Guard, the rest were TPM pegwarmers like Quinlan Vos and Battle Droid (which they were also charging $14.95 for!). I asked if they had any more from that wave, and they said not right now, but they do occasionally order more cases, so to check back from time to time.

Anyways, if people are still looking for these but don't want to go online (like me!) or even if you're looking to fill some holes in your collection, check and see if you've got Puzzle Zoo near you! And if not, their website has quite a bit on it for reasonable prices as well.

Yours (parenthetically),
Flamingtoilet (Mrs.)
