Please READ THIS FIRST if you plan on participating in 2012's JTA Facebook Contest which starts at 12:00 AM midnight tonight (on or about).

The 2012 JTA Facebook Contest is intended to be a fun event. If you panic under pressure or have an overzealous competitive spirit that borders on unhealthy, this isn't the contest for you. Everyone who successfully completes a MISSION will indeed go in for a drawing for the prize advertised. You DO NOT have to be the first person to complete it. So relax and enjoy the contest. PLEASE!

Let's quickly discuss a few rules to help make things smoother for you AND me this year.

You'll need to hover around our front page for this contest. Although you might see the MISSIONs get posted on Facebook, I will be deleting them so that they don't overtake our Facebook page. Keep it here at the site and keep refreshing for new front page MISSION adds.

If you're under the age of 18 you can participate too, but by participating, you are acknowledging that you have received approval from mom or dad.

Many of the tasks will require you to email me here at the site. Please follow the directions explicitly to the "T". If you don't, I will disqualify you. Things like misspellings, wrong word choices or anything similar will disqualify you. Sorry, but that's the dark and evil side of me. I am all about following directions. Some of the MISSIONs are more difficult than others, but the final "answer" you need to deliver will be simple, so don't screw it up! (Love you!)

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT email me asking if you answered the MISSION correctly or not. If you do, you will be disqualified from that particular MISSION. I WILL IMMEDIATELY DELETE YOUR EMAIL, OK? (There's that evil dark side again.) I do not have the time (or energy) to root through the bazillion emails that will be coming in this weekend (in addition to the regular stuff I get) just asking if you did what I asked you to correctly, OK? I am not trying to be a meanie, but just go with the flow. I will post all answers and winners after this contest is over, I promise. Don't be neurotic (like me). Just have fun!

All prizes will be shipped to prospective winners and more directions will follow when we get to that point. In the rare instance we are unable to ship to a certain country or some other quirky thing that prevents us from getting you your prize, we will work something else out as fairly as possible. (We don't expect many, if any, problems.) Also, if the cost of shipping significantly outweighs the value of the prize, we will also work something else out. We want all of you to participate. We will do whatever we can to make it right, but again to clarify, we're really not expecting any problems at all.
