Black Sunday? Stuff Still Continues To Trickle Out!

JTA reader Anakin20 as well as yours truly found the SCUBAHSOKA 8-pack at Walmart today. It makes me wonder if there are additional supplies of these awesome multipacks in the back stockroom. Anyway, it might be worth your while to go back to your local Walmart stores and see what you can conjour up. As an aside, does anyone find this a little bit disheartening? (more....)

Don't get me wrong. I am thoroughly enjoying paying as little as pennies over $3 per figure just like you, but isn't it ironic that these 8-packs can make it to stores with no issue and contain the figures we've been desperately searching for, yet the same store can't get in the single basic carded versions? Most Walmarts (as well as other stores) haven't seen anything beyond wave 1 of The Clone Wars and Movie Heroes. Did Hasbro cut their nose to spite their face by recommending such a ridiculous MSRP ($10) for these figures and choose the worst case assortments of all time? Is Walmart just being greedy by not reducing the price a little bit to be competitive? I am not pointing figures as any one "person" but what a total and utter debacle 2012 has been. While there are very encouraging signs that stuff is finally arriving (I saw my first full case of wave 13 of TVC today in TRU), I am wishing and hoping that they have a good grasp on how to handle 2013. Because quite honestly, I don't want to wait until the end of 2013 to get the stuff I want like I had to do this year. I am sure Hasbro and retail don't want to either.
