JTA reader J. Twist from Tulsa, OK writes in with detailed information about how his Amazon.com orders arrived and offers clues to what Amazon.com might be finding as problems with Lumat and other figures. Who are packing these figures? Cavemen?

The Temple,

Just bought a few figures from Amazon to open. I had preordered the case from bigbadtoystore but wanted to share a few pictures of what readers were discussing. Instead of boxes, Amazon is shipping out in what I would consider a cardboard mailer. The Republic Trooper was shipped by itself and thus the bubble was crushed. As for Lumat and the Emperor's Royal Guard theway the mailer is designed Lumat had a curved backing board. I had ordered all three figures at the same time but for some reason Amazon wanted to send in two different packages. Surprisingly the backboards were pristine for the type of mailer they used. For those collectors who wanted there figures unopened I can understand why. Hasbrotoyshop.com I believe is far worse for unopened figures. Still, frustrating times for mint collectors who can only get this wave online. I have not yet shipped out my loot from bigbadtoystore.com and hope that the figures inside are pristine from a full box.
