Click through to check out these awesome masterpieces and learn about what sets them apart from the regular 12" Stormtrooper figure.

Photography & Review by Paul Harrison

The Luke Skywalker and Han Solo (Stormtrooper Disguise) 12" figure set from Sideshow Collectibles is a truly remarkable pair! There was a bit of fuss that the original 12" Stormtrooper figure was too dull and Sideshow has listened to those comments and have given these figure a brand new shiny gloss. We thought the Stormtrooper figure couldn't be perfected, but Sideshow has broken our expectations in half and given us a beautifully executed product. The figures' portraits are simply unbelievable and as it seems that photographs do not appropriately grab the life in the face that Sideshow has captured, you'll have to believe us that these look even better in person. Luke Skywalker's utility belt is unique and has a place to store his comlink as well as his grappling hook. (See photos for reference.)

Sideshow has sculpted the Stormtrooper helmets with infinite detail and they came out better than we had ever hoped. Luke and Han's hands have been designed especially well to hold these helmets and this is a big plus. The standard Stormtrooper blaster has been included and fits in both of their right hands very well. Completely sold out, we suggest trying the Wait List at Sideshow Collectibles, but with a tiny edition size of 2000 pieces, we assume that the best of these sets are basically gone. At $199.99, its a bit more than two Stormtroopers, but remember that you are getting unique parts as well as new portraits of Han Solor and Luke Skywalker. This is a must have for Sideshow collectors and especially those who love anything Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope!
