It's Like A Kick In The Privates

Our good friends at Yakface.com have posted what I like to call a "reality check" article. It's a simple idea, but it speaks volumes. They've posted an image of what store shelves look like just five (5) years ago almost to the day. Keep in mind, this is pre-The Vintage Collection, when the collector body was what Hasbro referred to as their smallest. I don't know went wrong at this point (wise scribes say it was the dreadful packaging – others say it was pricing), but this golden era gave us some of the GREATEST Star Wars toys of all time (during 2008-2010). Sad to believe that we will NEVER see anything remotely close to this ever again. Be sure to check out their article and feel feel to leave comments wherever about your memories of this VERY fun time of collecting.
