BREAKING NEWS: Hasbro Postpones Rebels Figures Until 01/30/15?

We have just learned from JTA sponsor Big Bad Toy Store (indirectly) and other inside sources that Hasbro has delayed Star Wars: Rebels figures to them until first quarter 2015. Click through to see what we know. Keep this rumor in check as we don't know who this affects exactly (whether just online shops or brick and mortar) and as with any news like this, it can change on a dime (it likely will....) Also, keep in mind this rumor applies to USA markets as these figures have gotten out almost everywhere else to date. It's unknown if this delay is a directive from Hasbro (as in physically changing the date or not, or just happenstance because of how awry distribution has gone over the years. As we learn more we will fill you in as well. But it's been made quite clear that most of us won't see some Rebels figures until next year.

Paul, I discussed the Rebels figures delay today with BBTS, and they are now reporting that Hasbro has given them a 1st Quarter 2015 target for general release of the Rebels figures. This matches what my usual supplier has as an official time frame, as well as the "January 30, 2015" date listed by many of the Rebels/Legends figures on Amazon. Apparently some cases got out, but for whatever reason, the release of these figures en masse is not expected until early 2015. It seems foolish for Hasbro to miss the holiday season, but that alone makes me believe something bad happened to their shipments or production that is beyond their control. This info, as with everything in this hobby, shouldn't be set in stone, so maybe we'll still see these slam into stores around Christmas. Thanks!
