Will This Never End? The Drama Is Not Dying Down....

Posted by Paul | August 24, 2013 at 10:20 PM ET

It seems that the conversations regarding the separating card backs of The Black Series line is not dying down at all. And it also seems that retail's dealing of the issue is literally just putting a band aid on a much bigger problem. I can attest to finding the worse situation of this mess on my toy runs today, but click through to reader JTA reader Steve U.'s report.

Hi Paul,

I Know its old news but the black series 3.75 card seperation seems to be getting worse. Went to TRU and walmart today and saw 16 figs on the pegs and 14 of them had fallen apart. Worst part is they are retaping them with thick packing tape. It looks terrible! Of the 16 figs 6 were biker scouts, 5 vader and 5 were biggs. They seem to be clogging the pegs already. I have great fears about ever seeing wave 2. I Have attached at picture.
